SUBEB To Partner With Parents For Quality Education In Katsina

The Chairman of Katsina State Universal Basic Education (SUBEB), Alhaji Lawal Buhari has promised to partner with the Parents Teachers Association (PTA) in the state to guarantee quality basic education.

Buhari made this known when he received the executive members of Anty Nike Nursery and Primary School in his office in Katsina.

The Chairman who was represented by a Permanent Member of the Board, Alhaji Ashiru Batsari, said parents and teachers needed to observe the academic performances of the children and students to achieve the desired qualitative education in the state.

Buhari lauded the proprietors of private schools for complementing the effort of the government’s programmes in the state.

He further urged them to teach the pupils according to the prepared school syllabuses and schemes of work.

Speaking earlier in the visit, the chairman of the association, Alhaji Samaila Mamman, said the visit became necessary to acquaint the board with the government in a bid to seek direction for the promotion of basic qualitative education in the state.
