Sunday Igboho Speaks From Beninese Prison, Says Fighting Same Cause As IPOB’s Nnamdi Kanu [AUDIO]

Sunday Igboho Speaks From Beninese Prison, Says Fighting Sam

Foremost Yoruba Nation activist, Sunday Adeyemo, more popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has likened himself to Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB).

In a leaked audio obtained by AllNews, Igboho is undeterred about the possibility of him being brought back to Nigeria.

“If they want to transfer me to Nigeria, there is no problem. There is God everywhere. Nothing will happen. Is Nnamdi Kanu not there? It is the same agitation I am in for that Kanu is also steering. They cannot put fear in me. Unless God doesn’t exist in Nigeria. If God exists in Nigeria, if they wish, they should take me there. Nothing will happen,” Igboho said in his native Yoruba language.

Igboho is currently held in Benin Republic.

He was on July 20 arrested in Cotonou while trying to travel to Germany.

The Yoruba nation agitator fled Nigeria after he was declared wanted by the Department of State Services (DSS), following the alleged discovery of weapons in his Ibadan, Oyo State residence.
