The last time the Super Eagles gathered was in June for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers when they defeated Sierra Leone 2-1 and obliterated Sao Tome and Principe 10-0.
The Super Eagles will be without the likes of Victor Osimhen, Leon Balogun, Samuel Chukwueze, Ahmed Musa, Emmanuel Dennis, and Sadiq Umar for the encounter against Algeria.
Jose Peseiro was appointed as the Super Eagles coach in May, and he has managed four matches with two losses and two wins to show.
