Super Eagles Coach Peseiro Speaks Ahead Of Algeria Friendly

Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro is delighted to be back in charge of the team ahead of the friendly match against Algeria in Oran.

Peseiro and his team are in Constantine, Algeria preparing to face the Desert Foxes on Tuesday, September 27.

The Portuguese manager took to his Twitter handle to express his delight at the opportunity to be with the Super Eagles again.

“Feels great to be back with the team! Look forward to a week of hard work and training before the friendly match against Algeria, Let’s go!” Peseiro tweeted.

The last time the Super Eagles gathered was in June for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers when they defeated Sierra Leone 2-1 and obliterated Sao Tome and Principe 10-0.

The Super Eagles will be without the likes of Victor Osimhen, Leon Balogun, Samuel Chukwueze,  Ahmed Musa, Emmanuel Dennis, and Sadiq Umar for the encounter against Algeria.

Jose Peseiro was appointed as the Super Eagles coach in May, and he has managed four matches with two losses and two wins to show.
