Super Falcons Climb Up In Latest FIFA Rankings

Yet another progress has been made by the Super Falcons in the latest FIFA Coca-Cola women’s ranking.

The Falcons of Nigeria jumped from 42nd to 40th position in the ranking published on FIFA’s official website on Friday.

They also maintained their position as number one in Africa by climbing up two places.

The ranking is coming before this year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand in July.

Africa will be represented on the global stage by the Super Falcons of Nigeria, South Africa, Morocco and Zambia.

The Falcons are drawn in Group B alongside Canada (7th), Australia (10th) and the Republic of Ireland (22nd).

Meanwhile, the next FIFA women’s ranking will be out on 25 August 2023.
