Super Falcons star Asisat Oshoala was on target in Barcelona Femini's 4-1 win over Villarreal in the 2022-23 Spanish Iberdrola League.
Mapi Leon gave Barcelona the lead in the 28th minute before Oshoala added the second goal with a cool finish.
Rocio Garcia gave Villarreal a lifeline in the 56th minute to make it 2-1, few minutes later, Claudia Pina restored Barcelona's two-goal advantage.
Oshoala was substituted just after the hour mark.
Lara Mata diverted into her own net to make it 4-1 in favour of Barcelona.
Barcelona won their first game of the season 2-0 against Getafe.
The Defending Champions have won their first two matches of the season to go top of the log ahead of Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid on goal difference.
Oshoala became the first African player to win the top scorer award in the Spanish Women’s League last season, scoring 20 goals in 19 matches.
She is expected to be part of the Super Falcons squad to face Japan on October 6.
