Nollywood actress, Patience Oseni who became popular for her role in the Nigerian Television series super story died on Monday, February 17, 2020, in Calabar, Cross River State.
This was confirmed by Augusta Akomolafe the late Patience Oseni's daughter, to the National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Ejezie Emeka Rollas.
Rollas said in a statement, “With deep sense of sorrow but with total submission to the will of Almighty God, we announce the passing unto eternal glory of Patience Oseni, veteran Actress and member of the Actors Guild of Nigeria".
Although, there are speculations linking the cause of her death to cancer.
The Ogun State-born actress started her acting career in 1995 when she first starred in the movie ‘Deadly Passion.’ She then rose to prominence in Nollywood back in the late 1990s with her role in the movie ‘End Of The Wicked.’
