Microsoft has announced that the first video game to get the Hugo Award for Best Video Game in 2021, Supergiant Games' Hades, will be removed from Xbox Game Pass on August 31st.
PSA: Hades will be leaving @XboxGamePass and @XboxGamePassPC later this month on August 31, so get those escape attempts in while you still can! Thank you to everyone who's battled through the Underworld over the past year!

Hades is an action role-playing game that provides a holistic experience, unlike many other video games.
The gameplay, plot, music, and art all complement one another and raise the bar.
Even though Hades can be extremely severe, it never feels unjust.
Hades is one of a select few games that will no longer be available on Game Pass on August 31.
Hades was released in September 2020, just before the Hugo Awards announced intentions for a gaming category in November of that same year, and it became accessible for PlayStation and Xbox systems on August 13, 2021.
Months after the contenders were revealed, Hades took up the one-time prize for Best Video Game at a ceremony at DisCon III, the 79th World Science Fiction Convention in Washington, DC, USA.
