Suspected Fulani militia In the NTV community in the Bokkos local government area of Plateau State have killed two persons while five others have sustained bullet wounds.
Recent attacks on the local administration have resulted in no fewer than fifteen fatalities, several injuries, and the burning down of several homes by alleged Fulani militias.
An eyewitness who works for Plateau State University informed Tribune Online that the attack took place at around 11:00 p.m. on Sunday when the gunmen who rode into the neighbourhood started firing and killed two persons while also destroying property.
“The incident left residents of the community in pain as two members of the community were killed by the attackers.
"The unfortunate incident on Monday paralysed activities in the affected community and slightly disrupted academic activities at the nearby Plateau State University Bokkos.
“Members of the community also embarked on a protest, thereby blocking the highway until the security agencies arrived to clear the protesters before the road was opened to motorists.”
However, DSP Alfred Alabo, the spokesman for the Plateau State Police Command was unavailable to comment on the terrible situation.
