Suspected Vandal Nabbed With Stolen Cables In Kano

The suspect was allegedly caught cutting the wires

 A 23-year-old man has been apprehended over alleged vandalism of armoured cable in Nassarawa Local Government Area of Kano state.

This was disclosed by Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corp spokesman in the state, DSC Ibrahim Idris-Abdullahi, on Thursday.

He said that the suspect entered a building on Bompai road in the Nassarawa council area and was caught cutting and vandalising an armoured cable, 21 metres in size, and a 33-metre aluminium ratline conductor cable.

“The suspect, who lives at Yakasai quarters, Kano, was apprehended while committing the nefarious act by the security guard in the premises,” he said.

Idris-Abdullahi said that the investigation into the case had been concluded and that the suspect would soon be charged to court.
