SWAT: IPOB's Nnamdi Kanu Lists 'Three Key Ingredients That'll Deliver Victory' To Nigerian Protesters

SWAT: IPOB's Nnamdi Kanu Lists 'Three Key Ingredients That'l

Biafra political activist and leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has listed resistance, consistency, and momentum as the "only three ingredients" needed to achieve the aim of the #EndSWAT protests ongoing across Nigerian states, AllNews reports.

Kanu enumerated these in a statement on Tuesday he entitled “EndSARS campaign is heading in the right direction. Only three ingredients are needed now”, made available to the press through IPOB’s Media and Publicity Secretary, Emma Powerful.

The self-exiled pro-Biafra group leader said: “The leadership of various groups on the ground in the agitation should make it a must to resist every attempt by the ruling cabal to buy them over.

“They will throw money at the issue in the hope of buying people off the streets, but they must be resisted.

“Consistency is vital at this stage.

"Don’t allow mental fatigue to creep in.

"Momentum has a natural multiplier effect.

"With the momentum the movement becomes unstoppable.

“These three key ingredients will deliver victory.

"After this, things will no longer be the same in Nigeria.

"I salute your courage. History beckons,” Nnamdi Kanu added.

End SWAT: Nigerians reject police unit 'replacing' despised SARS

There has outrage in Nigeria since October 4, 2020, when clips surfaced on Twitter where a witness claimed a young man was gunned down in Delta State by now-dissolved  Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) operatives who also 'fled with the victim’s car'.

The protests have snowballed into #EndPoliceBrutality (and most recently #EndSWAT), with killing of civilians by the police recorded almost daily across Nigeria.

AllNews understands that some Pro-SARS campaigners are accusing Kanu, of being 'the secret sponsor' of a protest that has now gained international attention.

Although, AllNews cannot authenticate that claim.

In fact, many citizens of the West African country believe there is "no leader" in the protests. They call it "the people's movement" and liken it to the Arab Spring of the early 2010s.
