Sylvester Oromoni's Mother Reacts To Exoneration Of Suspects, Unleashes Curses

The mother of late Sylvester Oromoni has reacted to the exoneration of the five students involved in the alleged attack on her son, laying curses and calling on God to avenge the death of her son.

Mrs. Oromoni's reaction comes following the legal advice of the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP), Adetutu Oshinusi, which lead to the Lagos State Government clearing the five Dowen College students of any wrongdoing in the case.

In her response, the aggrieved parent in a video posted online expressed gratitude to Nigerians for their show of support towards her family.

"Nigeria, I'm so happy and I appreciate the deep love you have for us. The love that you people have for us, I appreciate all. But this battle that is on ground is of the Lord's", she said.

"Everlasting living God, the creator of heaven and earth... will most surely, surely avenge the death of my son, Oghenenyerhowo Sylvester Oromoni.

"The everlasting living God will avenge the death of my son. For this, the whole world will know that there is a God who fights for the oppressed!

"Jehovah God arise! King of Glory arise! And let those who cut the life of my son short, cut their lives short, oh Lord!

"And those who are supporting them, oh Lord, cut their lives short. Let them feel the pains that I'm passing through...!"
