The People's Democratic Party Governors' Forum now has a new chairman, Aminu Tambuwal, Governor of Sokoto State.
In a statement issued by the special adviser to the governor, Mohammed Bello, Tambuwal will be replacing the immediate former chairman, Seriake Dickson, who is the outgoing Governor of Bayelsa State.
The decision to replace Seriake was a unanimous one, as all present governors, except for Seriake who was absent at the event of the 88th National Executive Council in Abuja, agreed on the appointment of Tambuwal as Seriake's replacment.

In Tambuwal's speech, he vowed to utilize tools that will make the party inclusive and policies that will see the party ascend in a better light.
