Taraba: APC Guber Primary Election Nullified By Court

The Taraba governorship primary election has been nullified by a Federal High Court in the state.

The guber election produced Emmanuel Bwacha as the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2023 election and the party had been dragged by David Kent to court.

Kent, an aggrieved aspirant had taken the APC to court over the recognition of Bwacha as the candidate of the party.

While giving his ruling on Tuesday, Justice Simon Amobeda instructed that a fresh primary election be conducted within 14 days.

Bwacha was also ordered to stop parading himself as the governorship candidate of the APC.
