The Governor of Taraba State, Agbu Kefas, has approved the appointment of Gaius Danjuma, as the state's new Accountant General.
The Governor equally approved the appointment of Giwa Daniel Dugule as the new Deputy Accountant General of the state.
The Governor's approval was conveyed in a statement on Sunday by Suzy Jemimah Nathan, the state's Head of Civil Service.
According to Nathan, both appointments are with immediate effect.
Governor Kefas also hailed the appointment of Shakaah Kanyitor Chira, by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the new Auditor General of the Federation.
The governor described the appointment as a huge success for the state and the country.
He added that the appointment of Chira was a reward for hardwork and competence.
He further expressed optimism that the new appointee would bring to the table his wealth of experience, describing him as an effective achiever.
Kefas equally assured Chira that the state remains solidly behind him as he discharges his constitutional duties.
