Have you ever wondered what your favourite celebrity looked like before attaining fame? Not to be a spoiler, but not all of your favs were as adorable, hot and perfect as they are now before they came into limelight.
Before fame, celebrities were once regular people. After fame, they often have picture-perfect lives that so many fans find it hard to wrap their head around the fact that there was a time when celebrities were not as classy as they are now.
As per ThrowbackThursday (#TBT), we were able to find nostalgia-inducing photos of Nigerian celebrities from a far-back era of their life.

Olamide rose to prominence when he released his rap song, ‘Eni Duro’ in 2010, under the Coded Tunes Records. Eni duro, which became a sensation in the streets, brought him several opportunities in the music industry.
In 2011, Davido relocated to Nigeria to promote his music and rose to stardom after releasing his second single ‘Dami Duro’, which he co-produced with ‘Shizzi’.
Davido co-founded HKN Music with his elder brother, Adewale Adeleke. He also founded Davido Music Worldwide DMW, in 2016. Today, the record label is home to many artists including Mayorkun, Dremo, Peruzzi, and Deinde.
Kizz Daniel released his debut single ‘Shoye’ in May 2014 under G-Worldwide Entertainment. In September 2014, he released his second single ‘Woju’ which was produced by DJ Coublon. Woju became an instant hit and brought him to the limelight. The song became one of the biggest tracks of the year in Nigerian and even got nominated for ‘Hottest Single of the Year’ at the Nigeria Entertainment Awards.
Simi started out as a gospel singer, with the release of her debut album ‘Ogaju’. A few years later, she switched to secular music and came into limelight after releasing ‘Tiff’ under X3M Music, a record label she was signed to in 2014.
Adekunle Gold us an 'Urban Highlife' singer who came into limelight after releasing “Sade”, a song that was later nominated for Best Alternative Song at The Headies 2015. He was named the king of photoshop after he shared an edited image of him hugging afrobeat queen Tiwa Savage.
Falz music career began while he was in secondary school after forming a music group ‘The School Boys’ with his friends. In 2009, he dropped a mixtape titled ‘Shakara: The Mixtape’. He also released ‘Waz Up Guy’, ‘High Class’ and ‘Currency’ in 2011. However, the release of his song ‘Marry Me’ featuring Poe and Yemi Alade, marked the beginning of his successful music career.
Burna Boy rose to prominence in 2012 after releasing "Like to Party", the lead single from his debut studio album L.I.F.E (2013). In 2017, Burna Boy signed with Bad Habit/Atlantic Records in the United States and Warner Music Group internationally.
Wizkid rose to prominence after releasing his hit single "Holla at Your Boy". His fourth album, Made in Lagos, was released on the 30th of October 2020, to wide commercial success and acclaim
Ebuka shot into limelight when participated in the 2006 edition (1st Season) of the popular reality show ‘Big Brother Nigeria’. Although he didn’t win, he finished in the 8th position. He became the host of the second season of the reality show in January 2017. He also came back for the third, fourth and now the fifth season.
Mayorkun got signed into Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) in 2016 after he released a cover of Davido's single “The Money” single. His debut single "Eleko" was released under the label.
