MTN Nigeria on Thursday confirmed that it would roll out 5G network by August 24.

How To Transfer WhatsApp Chat History From Android Device To iPhone Device

Meta has finally confirmed that WhatsApp conversations history, pictures, videos, and voice conversations can be transferred from Android to iPhone and end-to-end encryption would still be preserved.

The system can be started during the setup of a new (or factory reset) iPhone and leverages Apple's Move to iOS software for Android phones. Read more here.

Google Upgrades From Google Hangouts To Google Chat

Google has announced that it is now starting the transition of free, individual Hangouts users to Chat following the discontinuation of Google Hangouts for Workspace users in February.

Google said those who are still using the Hangouts mobile app will receive a prompt upgrade to Chat in a blog post. Read more here.

Snapchat+ To Offer $4 Monthly Membership Service For 'Passionate' Users

America Social media company, Snap Inc. has announced that an optional membership service with "exclusive, experimental, and pre-release features" has been launched for "Passionate" Users.

The $4 per month programme, which launches this week in the US, Canada, the UK, France, Germany, Australia, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates, is geared toward "passionate" Snapchat users. Read more here.

Xbox, Stadia, GeForce Now Streaming On Samsung's Gaming TV Platform

Samsung has introduced a brand new game streaming discovery platform for its 2022 smart TVs and monitors, joining Google Stadia, Utomik, Twitch, Nvidia's GeForce Now, and Microsoft's new Xbox Cloud Gaming services. The Samsung Gaming Hub UI smoothly incorporates Amazon Luna.
