Mazda CX-9 Receives 'Good' Rating In IIHS's New Side-Impact Test

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) announced today that the Mazda CX-9 received a "Good" rating in a new, more difficult side-impact test.

This was the second series of tests for vehicles from the model years 2021-2022, which included a more stringent test aimed at addressing more serious collisions by using a heavier barrier that travels at a faster speed to simulate the impacting vehicle. Read more here.

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. has launched the Wireless AR Smart Viewer Reference Design, powered by the Snapdragon XR2 Platform, as another step toward making extended reality (XR) the next computing platform.

The new wireless AR Smart Viewer reference design enables OEMs and ODMs to prototype and bring to market lightweight, premium AR glasses that enable immersive experiences that unlock the metaverse more easily and cost-effectively. Read more here.

RedNet Subsidiaries Receives Approval To Use Advanced AI Tools In Mammography

RadNet, Inc. (NASDAQ: RDNT) announced on Monday that its DeepHeatlh Saige-DXTM mammography and Quantib® Prostate 2.0 MRI artificial intelligence ("AI") algorithms have obtained Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance.

Saige-Dx is an artificial intelligence designed to help radiologist detect the presence or absence of breast cancer more effectively. It is a more advanced successor to FDA-approved Saige-Q worklist triage software RedNet said. Read more here.

Google Announces $4 Million Black Founders Fund For 60 Eligible Start-ups Across Africa

Google on Tuesday said that 60 eligible black-founded start-ups would receive a total of four million dollars in the second cohort of Google for Start-up Black Founders Fund (BFF)
