Spain has released a new set of rules to regulate how social media influencers and others can advertise cryptocurrency assets starting from next month.

The Spanish National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) will require people and companies to notify it at least 10 days before running campaigns for crypto assets. Read more here.

The Legend Of Zelda: Majora’s Mask Coming To Nintendo Switch Online February

Nintendo has announced that The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, is coming to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription service in February.

It will be the 12th Nintendo 64 game for Nintendo’s premium tier of the Nintendo Switch Online subscription service. The news came a day after Banjo Kazooie, the classic Rare-developed Nintendo 64 platformer, hit the Expansion Pack.  Read more here.

Food-tech Startup, Orda Raises $1.2 Million In Funding

Nigeria food-tech startup, Orda has announced a fundraise of $1 million, intended to setup it's business and expand its operation.

The investors involved in the round include Microtraction, DFS Labs, Oxford Seed Fund, Enza Capital, Agrolay Advisors, Techstars Boulder, Magic Fund, Hustle Fund, Norrsken Foundation, and angel investors like Ire Aderinokun, Jesse Ovia and Ademola Adesina. Read more here.

WhatsApp Releases Pause, Resume Voice Recording Feature

Meta's messaging app, WhatsApp has released another useful feature that allows web and desktop users the ability to pause and resume voice recordings.

WhatsApp introduced the new feature after some changes were made on the user’s interface to allow clients to listen to voice notes before sending them and the possibility to join the official beta program of WhatsApp Desktop. Read more here.

Tech Startup, Touch and Pay Joins W22 Y Combinator Accelerator Programme

A cowry card payment system, Touch and Pay (TAP) has been listed in the W22 Y Combinator batch, bringing the number of tech startups with Nigerian origin on the accelerator programme to five.

TAP plans to utilise its backing by the Y Combinator accelerator programme cash-based microtransactions to expand across African markets and create a truly cashless ecosystem by mopping up cash across several sectors with technology. Read more here.
