China Restricts Investment In Cryptocurrency Mining

The war against cryptocurrency in China has been extended to a broader ban on crypto mining. According to a report, China has added crypto mining to a draft "negative list" that limits or outrightly bans investments in a given industry, whether by Chinese or foreigners.

HP Launches Windows 11 On Its Newest Laptops

HP Inc. on Friday has announced the launch of Windows 11 with the newest technologies to provide consumers’ satisfaction and keep up with their lifestyle.

Global Head and General Manager, Consumer PC,  HP Inc., Josephine Tan said in a statement that the newly-introduced HP products include: HP Spectre x360 16 inches 2-in 1 Laptop PC, HP ENVY 34-inch All-in-One Desktop PC, HP 11-inch Tablet PC and they would further change how people worked, learned and played. Adobe Introduces Camera Raw To Photoshop On iPad (VIDEO)

American multinational computer software company, Adobe has introduced a new upgrade called Camera Raw to Photoshop on the iPad ahead of its Max conference on October 26. 

The new features will enable users to use its Camera Raw tools to import RAW files from the camera to the iPad. Read more here.

Facebook Updates Policies on Online Bullying, Harassment

Facebook has announced new updates to bullying and harassment policies that will safeguard online users.

The company said in a post attributed to Head of Safety Antigone Davis that it will take down mass coordinated harassment campaigns targeted at individuals at heightened risk of offline harm. Read more here.

Instagram Plans To Roll Out In-App Notifications For Service Outage

Instagram has announced that it is testing notifications that will alert users of “temporary issues” like outages or other technical issues after a massive Facebook outage that took all of the social network’s apps offline for more than six hours.

The new notification is expected to appear in users’ Activity Feed when released alongside other in-app notifications. The message is also designed to inform users about specific issues, like Story uploads not working or a more widespread problem. Read more here.
