Teckno Refers To Bible Verse As ‘Cap’

Tekno Miles

Nigerian singer Tekno Miles does not seem to agree with the Bible verse which instructs us to love our neighbours as we love ourselves.

In a tweet, he said that the Bible verse is ‘cap’. (Cap is slang for ‘lie’).

“Love your neighbor as you love yourself! Is Cap,” he tweeted.

Tekno dropped his debut song ‘Holiday’ under K Money Entertainment. In 2012, he got noticed by comedian Julius Agwu when he performed a song titled ‘Onye Ne Kwu’ at a concert in Abuja.

At the same event, he met Iyanya and Ubi Franklin, the manager of the record label Made Men Music Group.

Tekno moved from Abuja to Lagos with the encouragement of the duo and joined the record label in 2013.

He released ‘Dance’ and ‘Anything’ under the label.

The song that brought Tekno into the limelight was ‘Duro’ which he released on June 18, 2015. The song was a hit and it got massive airplay across Africa and the United States.

The remix featuring Phyno and Flavour NAbannia topped several charts in Nigeria and abroad and peaked at Number 5 on Capital XTRA’s Afrobeat Chart: Top 10 for September 2015.
