Tekashi 6ix9ine Attacked At Florida Gym, Hospitalized [Videos]

Daniel Hernandez, known professionally as Tekashi 6ix9ine, was brutally attacked by a group of men while inside a South Florida gym, resulting in injuries so severe that he was rushed to a hospital by ambulance, according to his attorney, Lance Lazzaro.

Lazzaro explained to multiple news outlets that the rapper was inside the sauna at an LA Fitness gym on Tuesday when several men attacked him without warning.

In a video circulating on social media, a male attacker can be seen shouting racial slurs and vulgarities while kicking and grabbing the rapper on the floor of a bathroom.

Despite his efforts to fight back, the assailants outnumbered and overpowered him, causing serious injuries before fleeing the scene.

Another video shows 6ix9ine with a bloodied face, angrily confronting the person filming him.

Notably, 6ix9ine had no security detail with him at the time of the assault.

After hearing the commotion, gym staff alerted a manager who promptly called the police and emergency services.

6ix9ine was then transported to a hospital via ambulance for medical attention.

The incident left 6ix9ine, 26, with facial cuts and bruises, as confirmed by his lawyer to Variety.

6ix9ine has a criminal history, having been found guilty of multiple offences related to the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods in 2019.

However, he received a reduced sentence of two years for cooperating with the authorities and was released after serving 13 months for good behaviour.

The rapper previously expressed fears of being killed if he returned to his old neighbourhood in Brooklyn, but it remains unclear whether Tuesday’s attack was connected to his cooperation with authorities.
