Telegram Adds iMessage-Style Reaction, Hide Text For Spoiler

The instant messaging platform, Telegram has introduced the latest major feature before the end of 2021 that will hide text in a chat, notifications and chat list to mask spoiler and new iMessage-style reactions.

The latest feature will enable users to select any section of the text and use the spoiler formatting. The iMessage-style can be activated when a user taps any message to send a thumb-up reaction.

Tapping once (or tapping and holding on iOS) will let you select other emoji, such as a grin, fire, a shocked face, or a thumbs down. You can change the default double-tap emoji in the Chat Settings on Android, and under the Stickers and Emoji section in iOS settings.

Another new feature is the ability to generate QR codes for anyone with a public username, as well as bots, groups and channels. You can tap the QR code icon next to their username and select the colors and pattern before sharing it elsewhere. You can find your own QR code in Settings.

The context menus on macOS with new shortcut hints and animated icons has also been redesigned by the Telegram team. The app will unveil a full-screen effect in one-on-one chats when you send certain emojis too.

Telegram now offers the ability to translate any message into another language, right in the app. Translation can be enabled in the app under Settings > Language, and then you can tap and hold a message to translate it into your language.

in 2021, Telegram released several updates from Livestream Recording Feature, Group Video Calling and Live Streams With Unlimited Viewers To Group, Channels as well as block others in group chats from taking screenshots and saving shared media.
