Billionaire heiress, Temi Otedola has won the Best Actress in an African Collaboration at the recently concluded Ghana Movie Awards for her role in her debut movie ‘Citation’.
Other actresses nominated for the category includes Ini Edo, Alexandra Amon, Ini-Dima Okojie, and Eucheria Anunobi.
Citation director, Kunle Afolayan also won the award for Best Movie (African Collaboration at the event.

Temi via her Twitter wrote, “I just heard I won the Ghana Movie Award in the category of Best Actress (African Collaboration) for my role in Citation! So, grateful! Thank you for this honour

Citation, written by Tunde Babalola, is a university drama centred on a female postgraduate student who has to find a way of dealing with the incidence of sexual harassment from a popular male lecturer.
It was shot in Nigeria, Senegal and Cape Verde and features tested thespians like Haitian-born Hollywood actor, Jimmy Jean Louis, Sadiq Daba and Gabriel Afolayan with a cameo by Dr Mrs. Ibukun Awosika, the chairman of First Bank of Nigeria.
