It is safe to say that 2022 is the year of Nigerian singer Tems as she keeps making and breaking records.
This time, the talented singer made her debut as a solo artist at number one on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales Chart with her legendary cover of Bob Marley's hit single ‘No Woman No Cry’ on the recently-released trailer for ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ movie.
She made her debut sitting in the number one spot on the Billboard Chart.
This is not the first time Tems will have a number one song on the chart.
She has appeared at number one on the chart with her collaboration with Wizkid on ‘Essence.’
‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’ is scheduled for a November 11 release at San Diego Comic-Con.
The teaser began with Tems’ rendition of ‘No Woman, No Cry’ before it seamlessly transitions to Kendrick Lamar’s 2015 resilient song ‘Alright’.
