Ten Greatest Movies Of All Time (2022)

Sight & Sound has updated its list of the top 100 films of all time. The list is only released once every decade, and this year's selection was drawn from the top ten ballots of over 1,600 film critics, academics, programmers, curators, and archivists from around the world.

And, as you might expect from a description of the exercise, there is plenty of room for both praise and criticism.

A list like this will always have biases, flaws, sticking points, and ridiculous inclusions or omissions.

But that's the fun of a list that claims such authority: it's a lot of fun to argue with!

So, in the spirit of list making and its inevitable and intended results, here are the top 10 greatest movies of all time which we have curated from Sight & Sounds 2022 list of the 100 greatest movies of all time.
