Currently one of the largest and fastest-growing music industries in the world is that of Nigeria. 

The nation is home to hundreds of thousands of musicians, including both established and up-and-coming musicians.

The Nigerian music scene is extremely competitive, making it impossible to name one artist as the best at the moment.

However, we can to some extent list or pinpoint some of the Nigerian music artists currently taking the world by storm. 

Below are ten Nigeria music artists taking the world by storm at the moment: 


1. Burna Boy

Burna Boy is a Nigerian singer and songwriter who has gained international recognition for his unique blend of Afrobeat, reggae, and dancehall music. 

He has released several hit songs and won multiple awards, including the 2020 Grammy Award for Best Global Music Album.

 

2. Wizkid

Wizkid, also known as Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, is one of Nigeria's biggest music stars. He gained international prominence with his collaboration on Drake's hit song, "One Dance." 

Wizkid's music is a fusion of Afrobeat, reggae, and hip-hop, and he has won numerous awards for his work.

 

3. Davido

David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer. 

He has achieved global success with his energetic and infectious Afro-pop music. Davido has won several awards and collaborated with international artists like Chris Brown and Meek Mill.

 

4. Tiwa Savage

Tiwa Savage is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and actress. She is known for her soulful voice and has been dubbed the "Queen of Afrobeats."

5. Tems

Tems, whose real name is Temilade Openiyi, gained popularity with her unique blend of alternative R&B and Afrobeat.

6. Yemi Alade

7. Olamide

8. Rema

9. Asake

As of 2023, Asake is among the most well-known and prosperous musicians in Nigeria. After being signed to the well-known Nigerian record label YBNL Nation, he gained notoriety.

Following his signing, he immediately put out several hit singles and albums that topped the charts.

Asake was crowned Artiste of the Year by Audiomack in 2022, he recently sold out the famous 02 Academy Brixton.
 


10. Kizz Daniel 

The popular record label "Fly Boy Inc." in Nigeria is led by Kizz Daniel, who also founded the company.

Kiss Daniel has been active in the Nigerian music industry for many years, winning numerous music awards and releasing several music projects since he rose to prominence in 2013 with his popular hit single Woju.
