Church members have raised an alarm after unidentified gunmen attacked a church in Itori.
According to an anonymous person who posted on social media, the gunmen during the operation abducted a pastor and other worshippers from the church located in Itori, Ewekoro local government area of Ogun State.
As of the time of filing this report, the Ogun State Police Command is yet to react to the attack.
On Sunday, June 5, 2022, yet-to-be-identified gunmen attacked Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Owo, Ondo State, killing several worshippers.
The aftermath of the attack has seen several states across the southwest declaring three-day statewide mourning, with the national flags flying at half-mast.
