Erik Ten Hag
Liverpool stunned Manchester United with a historic 7-0 victory, their biggest competitive win against the Red Devils ever. The previous record was set way back in 1895 with a 7-1 win in the second tier.
The defeat was so alarming, their manager Erik Ten Hag said "That is not Manchester United. We have to talk about it."
Despite the heavy defeat, Ten Hag remained hopeful and urged his team to reset and bounce back. "We've bounced back many times before. We will bounce back," he said.
However, he expressed his surprise and disappointment with his team's lack of resilience and winning attitude in the second half. "We didn't stick to the plan and we didn't do our jobs. Yes, I'm angry. Definitely," he added.
It remains to be seen how United will respond to this defeat, but one thing is for sure, they will need to make significant changes to avoid such a humiliating result in the future.
