The Future Awards: Rema, DJ Cuppy, Others Nominated (Full List)

The central working committee (CWC) of The Future Awards Africa (TFAA) has announced the nominees for the 2020 edition, with Rema, DJ Cuppy and others making the list.

The CWC, in a recent broadcast, announced the awards which spanned 20 categories.

AllNews reports that the event aimed at celebrating the achievements of young Africans, is billed to hold on November 28, with a three-day digital festival slated to hold from November 27 to 29.

In a statement, the chief operating officer, RED for Africa, Bukonla Adebakin said “From movies to music, governance and fashion, these categories encompass the youngest and brightest minds on the continent who have inspired us all, impacted policies and politics, and are positively bending the course of our societies.

“It is with such immense hope in the future of our content and recognition of nominees’ achievements that we unveil the class of 2020.”

The statement added that 25 per cent of profits accrued from this year’s edition of the event will be donated to NGOs working to end sexual and gender-based violence in Nigeria.
