The Superbowl Trailer For 'The Falcon and the Winter Soldier' Is Here

Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan light up the screen in the official trailer for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Continuing from where Avengers: Endgame stopped, the upcoming miniseries sees two of Captain America's friends, Sam Wilson (Mackie) and Bucky Barnes (Stan) face new foes while getting to see two familiar faces along the way.

In the clip, we hear the ominous voice of Baron Zemo (Daniel Bruhl) who says that superheroes shouldn't be allowed to exist ., reaffirming his commitment to finishing what he started. Those who remember the devastation he caused in Captain America: Civil War know that this means nothing good for the titular characters. 

Also, Wilson and Barnes are reunited with Agent Carter (Emily VanCamp) who doesn't look pleased to see them, The words she utters confirm that once again they are on two opposing sides.

Action, explosions, and some playful banter between Falcon and the Winter Soldier seem to show that Marvel didn't hold anything back in making a series on par with some of their best movies.

Created by Malcolm Spellman for Disney +, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier consists of six episodes and is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). It will premiere on March 19, 2021, as Phase Four of the MCU.
