Oluyemi Orija is a legal practitioner, entrepreneur, human rights activist, a wife, and a mother. She served in law firms in Lagos and Akwa Ibom before setting up her practice .

She has helped to facilitate the release of inmates who have been wrongly accused. She has been known for her kindness. Her practice focuses mainly on  helping those with no access to legal services when they need it the most. She renders her service free for these inmates .
