Things You Need To Know About New Ochi'Idoma

Ochi'Idoma Elaigwu Obagaji John

The new Ochi'Idoma, Elaigwu Odogbo Obagaji John hails from Agatu in Apa Local Government Area of Benue state, a man of integrity with high moral standard, a servant of God  who pastors with the Deeper Life Bible Church.

The 52-year-old clergy defeated Andrew Idakwu and Sunday Echono to emerge the new king of Idoma land after the demise of His Royal Highness, Agabaidu Elias Ikoyi Obekpa, who went on a hunting expedition (died) on October 10.

He was born in March,1969 as the 5th born to the family of  Elaigwu Ekoja in Obagaji the headquarters of Agatu Local Government Area in Benue State.

Pastor Odogbo Obagaji John graduated in 1994 from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria with B.Sc honours in Accounting. He obtained his Masters degree in Business Administration (2012) from Benue State University.

He also has a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (2015) from National Teacher Institute, a Masters degree in Accounting and Finance from the Nasarawa State University, Keffi, and a Phd (in view) in Accounting from Nasarawa State University Keffi.

He is a Fellow of Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (FCITN), fellow Certified National Accountants of Nigeria (FCNA) as well as an associate member of Nigerian Institute of Management.

Elaigwu started his professional career with Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), where he worked for 23 years and had rose to the position of Assistant Director. 

Elaigwue served as Chairman, Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria for two tenure from 2004 to 2012. He also served as National Ex-officio of the same Association from 2012 to July, 2018.

Comrade Pastor Elaigwu is an erudite trainer, a resource person in FIRS and a thorough professional with vast experience in taxation and accounting through international training and development including;

Elaigwu left FIRS in 2016 to set up his consultancy firm and other related companies such as; Esan Gods Integrity Consults. (EGIC.), Tax Consultancy and Management firm, Elmaro Elaigwu & Co. (EE&C.) Audit Management consultancy firm, EMEU God's Professional Academy Limited, Professional Training Consultancy Firm.
