Recall that the movie premiere, which held at Filmhouse Cinema Lekki, Lagos had in attendance various celebrities who were dressed up in outfits that reflected the theme of the movie.
Lawani chose to dress like a nun but her outfit, however, had high slits that went up to her privates. The fashion mogul came under fire as Netizens feel she disrespected Christianity. Some argued that she could never try the same with the Hijab.
In response, Lawani said she is not fazed for the vile comments thrown at her. She argued that she is an artist and would not stop creating artistic things even if it would displease the world.
