Three suspects have been arrested in connection to the brutal assault on popular rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine inside the bathroom of a gym in South Florida last week.
Rafael Medina Jr., 43, Octavious Medina, 23, and Anthony Maldonado, 25, were taken into custody by detectives with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office and charged with robbery and assault.
According to WPTV, the suspects were being booked into Palm Beach County Jail at the time of their arrest.
On March 21, 6ix9ine, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, was brutally beaten up in the bathroom of an LA Fitness gym in South Florida.
The attack, which began in the gym’s sauna, left the 26-year-old rapper with fractured ribs and a blood clot in his eye, requiring him to be taken to a hospital by ambulance.
The rapper’s lawyer had previously stated that the attack was unprovoked and occurred without warning.
