At least three people died and several injured in the Dutch city of Rotterdam on Saturday.
This is after a lorry crashed into a neighbourhood party, according to the police.
The police said the truck ran off a dyke and slammed into the Nieuw-Beijerland neighbourhood near Rotterdam, where people were having a barbecue outing.
Three people died on the spot and many were seriously injured, radio broadcaster NOS added.
However, rescue efforts went underway to recover the vehicle, which came from a Spanish haulage company, in order to confirm the number of victims.
The rescue mission involved 10 ambulances and a helicopter, with several people transported to the hospital for treatment.
