Three-Member Robbery Syndicate Arrested In Ogun

The Ogun State Community Social Orientation and Safety Corps also known as So-Safe Corps has apprehended a three-member robbery syndicate.

The security outfit revealed that the trio specialise in burgling warehouses in Ogun.

So-Safe Corps in a press statement by  the Commander of Corps, Soji Ganzallo said that the officers of the Corps at Igere Post on routine patrol led by SC Fasinu Sunday at about 23:45hrs on Sunday, June 4, 2023, pounced on the robbery gang who burgled into the Power Gas Company, Igere, Opic Estate in Ado Odo Ota Local Government Area.

"These three suspects, Amachi John, a 40 year old resident of 5, Imode Isibiri, Ijaniki, Lagos, Moses Lazarus, 41 years old and resident of 3,Jacob Street, Check Point, Badagry Express way, Lagos and Chidi Peter, 27 year old who resides at Igere Ihunsa Community, Opic Estate, Area 8, Agbara, Ado Odo Ota Local Government were caught after they successfully burgled into the said company while effort is on going to capture the rest gang members at large.

"The exhibit recovered from the suspected robbers are; 1 blue face and white cabin Lorry with inscription 'Chijioke' on the front and sides and marked SMK334XD, assorted Iron Fibres, 1 Aluminum Door, a number of iron pipes.

"The suspects and the exhibit recovered has been transfered to the Nigeria Police Agbara Area Command for further investigation and likely prosecution."
