Some unknown gunmen have killed three policemen and a commercial motorcyclist in Suleja, Niger State.
The murders were reported to have taken place on Thursday, shortly after the policemen respondend to a distress call when they were suddenly ambushed near a place called Old Barracks.
“A source told Daily Trust that the gunmen who ambushed the policemen seemed to be expecting their arrival.
Confirming the incident, Suleja Council Chairman, Abdullahi Shuaibu Maje said about three persons, including a vigilante member, survived the attack, as they are currently receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital.
The Police spokesperson in the state, DSP Wasiu Abiodun is yet to make any official comment on the matter,
