    Three policemen are feared dead following an attack a checkpoint in Agbani area of Enugu.

    The attack happened on Saturday morning at a checkpoint located in front of the Police Area command, Agbani Police Division.

    The gunmen who operated in a vehicle stormed the checkpoint and opened fire on the police.

    The policemen were killed in the incident while the gunmen were reported to have escaped towards Ugbawka.

    The state police command is yet to issue a statement on the latest attack.
