Tima Godbless Breaks 26-Year-Old Record At World U-20 Champi

Nigerian athlete Tima Godbless has broken the National U-20 Record at the World U-20 Championships in Colombia, storming to a massive Personal Best (PB) of 11.08s.

She broke the record set by Joan Uduak Ekah which stood for 23 years (since 1999)

She ran a new Lifetime's Best & Nigerian U20 Record of 11.09s, becoming the 4th fastest female Nigerian athlete in the world this year.

The time is also the second fastest ever by an African U20 athlete after Christine Mboma’s 10.97 seconds run last April in Gaborone and the 12th best in the Nigerian overall all-time best.

Godbless 18 was withdrawn from the Nigerian Commonwealth Games in Birmingham
