Titlong Emerges Chairman Forum of LGA Deputies Plateau Chapter

Forum of Local Government Deputy Chairmen Plateau state, has elected its new officials with Honorable Williams Titlong emerging as the new chairman of the forum.

The forum has the sole mandate of brainstorming and discussing pertinent issues that will complement the roles of Local Government Chairmen toward better service delivery.

The Plateau State Chapter of the Forum in its maiden meeting held on April, 8 and 9, 2022 respectively, after  long deliberation on the progress of the various councils on the Plateau reeled out some of its resolutions.

"During the meeting, we agreed that the Zoning of forum positions equally across the three senatorial zones of the state consensus should be adopted. 

"Sequel to the aforementioned, candidates were hitherto nominated and presented to the house for adoption by a motion moved by Hon. Ayuba Jagaba and seconded by Honourable Samson Gimba saw the emergence of the new executives. 

"These persons include, Hon. Williams Titling - Chairman-Deputy chairman shendam. Honourable Hassan Garba - Vice Chairman-Deputy chairman mangu 

Honourable Ayuba Jagaba - Secretary-Deputy chairman Jos south. Honourable Bala Haruna - Organising Secretary-Deputy chairman Kanam. Honourable Nancy timya Paul - Financial Secretary-Deputy chairman Langtang North.

Others are Honorable Lucy Gompel Joy - Treasurer-Deputy chairman Danke. Honourable Kelvin Makum - Welfare Secretary-Deputy chairman making. Honourable Yakubu Elisha Hwok - Auditor-Deputy chairman Riyom. Honourable Ishaya Ayuba Ajang -  Public Relations Officer-Deputy chairman Jos East 

Honourable Williams Titlong appreciated all members for wonderful deliberations and cooperation stating it will further cement a good working relationship between them and their bosses.

He encouraged members of the forum to put in their best while handling their primary assignments as well as working on possible areas that will add value to the local government system.
