Tiwa Savage: Why I Turn Down Some Interviews

Award-winning afrobeat singer Tiwa Savage says she turns down interviews from the Nigerian media industry, even though she feels bad about it.

On her official Twitter page, Tiwa said some bad eggs in the industry have made it hard for her to grant interviews.

According to the "Koroba" singer, those few people have no integrity.

"Please do not be offended when I turn down interviews. I feel bad BUT some few (sic) bad eggs in this Nigerian media industry have made it hard. THEY HAVE NO INTEGRITY," she tweeted.

Meanwhile, the mother of one recently opened up on turning 40 and how she had initially thought it would deny her few opportunities.

AllNews reports that the singer turned 40 on February 5, this year.

Speaking during 'The Dotty Show' on Apple Music 1, she recounted how scared she was in December 2019 about her age and how she called upon God to give her a sign.

According to her, her fears turned into great opportunities, and many other things that are happening never did in her 20s.
