Toke Makinwa Is The New Host Of Gulder Ultimate Search

The organizers of the Nigerian reality TV show, Gulder Ultimate Search (GUS), have unveiled the 2021 edition anchor and it is no other person than media personality, Toke Makinwa.

This was announced on the show's official Instagram page; “It’s about time! The age of craftsmanship is upon us and@tokemakinwais ready for the journey. Welcome to the #GulderUltimateSearch.”

Confirming the announcement, Toke Makinwa took to her Instagram to share a video.

Captioning the video, she wrote, “The council of Elders called and I answer. The age of Craftmanship is finally upon us.

“My name is Toke Makinwa. I am the anchor of the Gulder Ultimate Search – The Age of Craftmanship. Now let the adventures begin.”

Meanwhile, actor Kunle Remi will be the taskmaster for this edition. Remi was the winner of the 7th edition of the show in 2010.

The show will air on Africa Magic Showcase (DStv channel 151), Africa Magic Urban (DStv channel 153) and Africa Magic Family (DStv channel 154 & GOtv channel 2) on Saturdays and Sundays from 8 pm till 9 pm, from October 16.

The show promoters also confirm that the show will have weekly episode recaps and special commentary editions on Thursdays.
