Toke Makinwa Weighs In On Derrick Jaxn Infidelity

Nigerian media personality, Toke Makinwa, who is controversial for always giving out her opinions on issues especially those concerning relationships, has weighed in on Derrick Jaxn's confession to cheating on his wife.

Recall that the relationship expert, Derrick Jaxn, was accused of cheating on his wife of four years, Da'Naia Jackson, with a woman named Candice De Medeiros.

Jaxn, who is known for encouraging women not to settle for less than they deserve, initially denied the allegation but later on released a video where he confessed to having extra-marital affairs with other women which are not in line with the biblical standards he preaches about.

In the 7-minute-long video on his Instagram, his wife was present with him as he comes clean with his infidelity.

The video received backlashes as social media users wondered why he'd put his wife through additional torture by letting her sit with him through the video.

Makinwa, in reaction, took to her Instastory to slam the relationship expert over his 'PR stunt'. She stated that it is bad enough to cheat, but men should not drag their wives into an uncomfortable public apology when caught cheating. According to her, if the wife was not there when the man is cheating, then she should not be there for the public apology.

In her words, “Don’t drag your wife to an uncomfortable apology. She wasn’t called when you were cheating. Pls, leave her out of your PR stunt. You can see the pain and how uncomfortable she feels”
