Tottenham Dismiss Antonio Conte On Mutual Agreement

Tottenham Hotspur have dismissed head coach Antonio Conte on mutual agreement late on Sunday night.

The decision followed a public criticism of Tottenham players by Conte after 3-3 draw against lowly Southampton.

The club will appoint Cristian Stellini as until end of season, then the club will either look for a new manager or keep him.

Ryan Mason will also be assistant.

Among the possible replacement was former, now-Bayern Coach Thomas Tuchel.

The club football is currently on break with Tottenham on fourth with 49 points, 2 points ahead of Newcastle United at 47 -- the Magpies are with 2 games outstanding.

After the announcement, Tottenham CEO, Daniel Levy said: “We have 10 PL games remaining, we have a fight on our hands for a Champions League place”.

“We all need to pull together. Everyone has to step up to ensure the highest possible finish for our Club and amazing, loyal supporters”.
