Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has disclosed that the plot of her upcoming film ‘Ijakumo’ was inspired by a dream she had.
She told media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu when she sat down to have a chat with him on ‘Rubbin Minds’.
She said she had another movie to shoot at Osogbo but cancelled it when she dreamt of ‘Ijakumo’.
She mentioned that her crew members were concerned but loved the story when they heard it.
‘Ijakumo’ will premiere in cinemas on December 23.
Toyin Abraham produced and starred in the lead role of the suspense thriller centred on a disgraced woman on a revenge mission to destroy the life of her former lover.
Ashabi, the daughter of a powerful spiritualist, is hell-bent on destroying the life of her former lover Jide, a renowned pastor of a mega-church, who jilted and left her to die.
With the help of Sharon, a stripper and choir leader who Jide lusts after, Ashabi figures out a way to hatch her revenge plan.
Abraham is joined by an impressive cast including Lolade Okusanya, Kunle Remi, Lilian Afegbai, Olumide Oworu, Eso Dike, and so on.
