Toyota Motor Corporation, on Thursday, announced a profit of $5.4bn for July-September as vehicle sales grew around the world.
The amount, a one per cent rise from its previous 585 billion yen made for the second fiscal quarter last year to 592 billion yen for this year.
Toyota, Japan's top automaker with products such as Prius hybrid, Corolla subcompact and Lexus luxury models, stuck to its net profit forecast for the fiscal year through March 2020, at 2.15 trillion yen ($20 billion).
