Toyota Unveils New GR Yaris

Top international automobile maker, Toyota, has unveiled its Gazoo Racing Homologation special of the Toyota GR Yaris edition.

The Toyota creation which stems up from the Japanese brand's title in the world rally championship is coupled together fantastically with components like turbocharged 3-cylinder, 1.6-litre engines that produce 200KW and 360NM which is sent to all four wheels via a GR-FOUR permanent 4WD system.

Also, the racing automobile has a six-speed manual transmission to extract the engine’s maximum revving capability is made from light weight materials that include a new carbon fibre polymer for the roof while sections like the bonnet, roof and tailgate comprise of Aluminium.

This combination together with the forced induced power, gives it a superb power-to-weight ratio and a low kerb weight of 1 280kg.

This translates to a 0-100km/h acceleration in less than 5.5-seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 230km/h.
