A train has on Sunday, crushed a cement trailer and Adaidaita Sahu (tricycle) along Obasanjo Road in Kano.
The accident occurred at about 12:00 noon when the cement trailer rushed into the rail line while a train was passing through.
According to eyewitnesses, as they noticed the trailer trying to run into the rail line, they frantically tried waving the driver down, but he did not notice them.
The Adaidata Sahu was squashed, but no deaths has been announced.
The train reportedly slashed the trailer in half
Though some people were quickly rushed to the Murtala Muhammad Specialist Hospital, Kano after the accident.
It is, however, unclear if any deaths have occurred as authorities are busy trying to restore traffic flow and have not spoken on the issue.
