Transfer Deadline Day: Arsenal Free Aubameyang To Sign For Barcelona

Arsenal have taken a drastic action to free themselves of former captain Pierre Emerick Aubameyang as they allow him to leave for free to Barcelona.

Earlier today, Aubameyang was spotted in Barcelona ahead of a loan move for the remainder of the 2021/22 season but it seems the negotiations broke down over finances.

Then a drastic move was taken by Arsenal to free themselves of a disgruntled player by allowing him leave for free.

Aubameyang signed a three year deal with Arsenal in 2020 with annual average salary of £13,000,000. Out of the 3 year deal, he has only spent 1 and half year out of it.
