Transfer Update: Wijnaldum Agrees Deal With Barca, Kabak To

Barcelona is one of the most active clubs in the summer transfer as they move to seal the signature of free agents across Europe.

Gini Wijnaldum is set to join Barcelona after a verbal agreement is in place to sign the Dutch midfielder for free from Liverpool.

He would join the likes of Frenkie De Jong, Memphis Depay and De Ligt in Barcelona ranks.

Ronald Koeman is really trying to add enough Netherland internationals to his rank at the Spanish club.

He will sign a 3-year deal with Barcelona which will see him at the club till 2024. The deal should be done in few days as negotiation is well advanced.

Leicester Swoop In For Boubacary

Leicester City has agreed on personal terms with Lille midfielder, Boubacary Soumare with a few of 30M euros to be paid.

The lack of Champions League football will not derail the deal as it was sealed as far back as April.

He will sign a 5-year deal till 2026. Joining Leicester means the french midfielder will miss the Champions League and play in the Europa.

Kabak To rejoin relegated Schalke 04

Liverpool will not sign Ozan Kabak permanently from Schalke 04 especially the likely return of Van Dijk before the resumption of the new campaign.

Other injuries at the Anfield club will also have recovered so Kabak will not be able to play.

There is interest from Newcastle United as the player is not ready to play in Germany second division with Schalke.
